2 Day:
After breakfast at 8.30 - Departure to the Lavra Cave Monastery (a pilgrimage site for Orthodox Christians, Orthodox Christianity's "Rome").

13.00- Lunch at the hotel.
14.00-18.00- City tour of Kyiv including St. Sophia Cathedral and St. Michael Cathedral.
Today is a special day to buy beautiful ornamented Easter wooden and real eggshells at Andriivsky Descent (artisans masters market).

19.00.- 22.00- Festive Easter Dinner with Ukrainian cuisine & folklore performance at one of the national restaurants.

 

3 Day:

After breakfast at 8.30 - Visit of the St. Nicholas Church (Askoldova Mohyla - Greek Catholic denomination, Western Rite of Orthodox Church)
10.30 - Drive to the village of Zazymie. The guests are met by the local priest who'll tell the history of the Christian community of the village and invite the guests to attend the service at the church. A quite village street takes guests to a cosy house where they are warmly welcomed and treated with Ukrainian national meals and folk show. Unforgettable experience!
Dinner and overnight at hotel.

 

4 Day:

Whole day trip to Chernihiv (150 km one way), one of the oldest cities in Ukraine. The city tour includes: Transfiguration Cathedral (11th c.), Borys and Hlib's Cathedral (12th c.), Chernihiv Collegium (18th c.), a college, first of its kind, in the area with a collection of icons of 17-19th cc.; Yeletsky Convent and Uspensky (Assumption) Cathedral, talk with Mother Superior; Troyitskyi (Holy Trinity) Cathedral with relics of Feodosiy Uhlichsky and Venerable Lavrentyi; Precentor and Psalm-Singers School in Troyitskyi Monastery; Elijah the Prophet Church (12th c.) and Anthony Caves with underground churches dating from 12-18th centuries.
Lunch at the local restaurant.
Return to Kyiv
Dinner and overnight at hotel.

After breakfast transfer to the airport for homebound flight
